What’s New in the Backyard?
Happy Fall!
Wow! It is hard to believe we are heading into the fall already. This has been a beautiful flower season so far and I am excited to wrap up with the beautiful dahlias and fall foliage. We will also be offering our dried flower pumpkins (preorder and at events). Extra bouquets will be limited this fall due to the lack of rain and slow blooming dahlias. My fingers are crossed that they throw up a bunch of buds before we wrap up the fresh flower season. Fall clean, prep for spring, and bulb planting will be in full swing next month.
I am continuing my own education in native plants as I have found that building a thriving ecosystem and investing in the soil is integral to beautiful blooms. We are stewards of the earth and we are learning to work with nature rather than against its natural processes. Stay tuned for a very exciting project that is in the works!
